I’m Beginning To Hate Winter
Thursday, January 29th, 2009Maybe it’s the fact that I’m tired shoveling snow every couple of days or chopping ice or treating the driveway with ice pellets but winter on Long Island is really getting on my nerves. Yesterday the combination of snow ice and heavy rain was bad enough and then to top it all off the roof on my house began to leak in not one but 3 places! I’ll give you one guess who after clearing off the driveway and the sidewalk was on the roof in the pouring rains we had yesterday trying to put a tarp on the roof. Not Pretty! All I can tell you is there is a reason why I’m in radio. Bring on the sun and the mild temperatures. Spring can’t come fast enough for me.
