South Ocean Football
My 13 year old son Christopher is on the South Ocean middle school football team and yesterday for the first time I was able to catch a scrimmage between South Ocean & Bellport. I can’t believe how much fun I had as a spectator! Watching the other parents cheer their kids on, listening to some of the other Dads yelling..(Or gently motivating) their son’s and then getting yelled at by their wives ..Way too funny! A beautiful October afternoon and the look in my son’s eyes when he knew I was watching him… Priceless! Should’ve done this a long time ago. By the way South Ocean beat Bellport for the 2nd time in the last 2 weeks and they haven’t won against Bellport in 5 years! Must be because my son is on the team……Maybe not..
