I know I seem like a mild mannered guy.  For the most part I am.  However, I have a dark side.  A side that when angry or hungry is not pleasant.  I know it.  I’m aware.  I just deal with it.  Unfortunately, others have to deal with it when it happens.  A situation arose this morning bright and early at 5am that brought on this issue.  The one thing you don’t want to do is make me angry at 5am.  It’s a bad way to start the day.  Click and listen to what happened.  Feel free to comment with suggestions if you have any.

Hey everyone.  Before we get to our feature on today’s blog, how about an Oscar recap.  I don’t know about you, but I love the Oscars.  They may be boring or cheesy at times, but there is something about it that I love.  It’s like the Superbowl.  You just have to watch it.  In a way I feel it allows us to see what life is like for the beautiful people.  The women in their dresses.  The men in their tuxedos.  It just feels special.  The funny thing is that most of us are lucky to have seen one of the movies.  I know for myself I saw none of them this year.  However, you still have to watch.  Call it an escape from reality if you like.  Whatever it is…I like it.  Of course I’m in bed by 10pm and miss all of the good categories, but even just the red carpet and opening part of the show is enough to give you a feeling for the evening.  My wife and I are planning on getting out to see Benjamin Button, Slumdog, and The Wrestler at some point.  We’ll see if we make it to the theater before they come to cable.

My 2nd Wedding Anniversary has come and gone.  Up until 12:30pm on the day of my anniversary I didn’t have any set plans.  Then a friend of mine came through and gave my wife and I a night to remember. 

I would normally write more to describe the event, but it is better if you hear about it.  I will say only this.  Probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen!  Click to listen and enjoy.

I’m tired of it all. Being tired, out of shape, unhappy with my eating. It’s over. I don’t know where it came from, but last night I felt this inspiration. Part of it may have stemmed from my viewing of the movie “Running The Sahara”. Great film. Buy it. They have a website at runningthesahara.com. This inspiration told me to go to the Supermarket and change my life. So I did! I bought all healthy food and will be packing lunch for my wife and I every day. I have been making our lunches for awhile, but not like this. I feel better already. Mentally I am on the road to a lifestyle change. (more…)

Hello all.  I hope life is treating everyone well.  A few things to mention here that have been going on in my life.

First…my baby.  Lia Rose is almost 13 months and has been mumbling and speaking now for quite awhile now.  However, the other day I think she learned to understand and say her first word.  As you can imagine with 3 dogs in our home it was DOG.  She’s got this great book with pictures of animals in it.  Each page is another animal.  I handed her the book and said “Lia Rose, find me the dog.  Which one is the dog?”  Lia took the book, flipped through the pages, found the dog and pointed to it.  She also says what seems to be dog.  I am very proud.
