Why We Love Penguins

Did you love the movie March of the Penguins?  What about Happy Feet? If your answer to both is a resounding “YES!” – don’t be surprised. According to Psychologies magazine, penguins bring out the best in us! Studies show that a sure-fire way to improve a person’s mood is to show them a short film of penguins sliding on ice. In fact, it’s a more successful than playing music! Showing clips from funny movies is also helpful, but research shows that these clips are funnier if the person’s seen the whole movie. With penguins, all we need is a clip. We relate to them without a back story.
